اوکانر را باید از پیش گامان استعدادیابی علمی امروزی نامید.
جانسون اوکانر که در رشته فلسفه از دانشگاه هاوارد فارغ
التحصیل شده بود در سال 1922 مسئولیت پروژه آزمون
استعدادیابی یا تشخیص استعداد کارکنان
در جنرال الکتریک را بر عهده گرفت.
آن زمان این پروژه با عنوان مهندسی انسانی نامگذاری شده بود و در توصیف آن گفته میشد
که قرار است هر کس، در شغلی مشغول
کار شود که توانمندی بیشتری برای آن دارد.
تست اوکانر برای این منظور توسط او طراحی
و اجرا شد.
مدیران جنرال الکتریک بر این باور بودند که با این کار، هم کارگران
شرایط بهتر و محیط کار مطلوبتری خواهند داشت و هم خروجی مجموعه بیشتر خواهد شد.
تست استعدادیابی اوکانر چه مواردی را می سنجد؟
این تست 14 استعداد را در افراد می سنجد.

حافظه طراحی و مشاهده(Memory for Design & Observation)
تشخیص و ادراک رنگ (Color Discrimination & Color Perception)
طراحی بصری (Visual Designs)

آینده نگری (Foresight)

خوانده میشود. که ترکیبی از دو کلمهٔ یونانی فتو به معنی نور و گرافی به معنی ثبت یا نگارش
است. بنابراین، فتوگرافی به معنای نقش کردن با نور است.
عکاسی یعنی ثبت و ایجاد یک تصویر؛ که در
دو مرحله انجام میشود. نخست، بهدستآوردن
تصویر به وسیلهٔ دوربین و ثبت آن روی نگاتیو (فیلم) یا گیرنده تصویر الکترونیکی
و دوم، ظاهر کردن تصویر مخفی حاصل از دوربین عکاسی و پایدارکردن آن.
در این فرایند، دریافت و ثبت نور بر روی
یک سطح حساس به نور، مانند نگاتیو یا گیرنده تصویر، باعث میشود.
الگوهای نوری بازتابیده شده یا ساطع شده از اشیاء بر
روی سطح حساس به نور (نقره کلرید یا گیرنده)
تأثیرگذارد و باعث ثبت تصاویر گردد.
عکاسی دارای سه جنبهٔ علمی، صنعتی و هنری است.
بهعنوان یک پدیدهٔ علمی متولد شد، بهشکل یک صنعت گسترش یافت و به عنوان هنر تثبیت شد.
عکاسی توسط یک فرد کشف و تکمیل نشدهاست.
بلکه نتیجهٔ تلاش بسیاری از افراد در زمینههای مختلف و اکتشافات و
نوآوریهای آنان در طول تاریخ است.
و سالها قبل از اختراع عکاسی،
اساس کار دوربین عکاسی وجود داشتهاست
اما اولین تصویر لیتوگرافی نوری در سال
۱۸۲۲ میلادی توسط مخترع فرانسوی، ژوزف نیسهفور
نیِپس تولید شد و پس از آن توانست عکسی دائمی از طبیعت به نام اصطبل و کبوترخانه را خلق کند.
او با همکاری لوئی داگر، آزمایشهایی را بر
ترکیبات نقره براساس یافتههای یوهان هاینریش شولتز
انجام دادند. و داگر در سال ۱۸۳۷ توانست
روش داگرئوتایپ را اختراع کند.

تست هالند برای استعدادیابی و سنجش رغبت های شغلی کلیه افراد بالای 12 سال مناسب است و
طیف وسیعی از افراد شامل دانش آموزان متوسطه دوم، دانشجویان
و افراد جویای کار را می تواند ارزیابی کند.
البته در استعدادیابی های تخصصی تحصیلی و شغلی، با توجه به سن افراد

حاکمیت و سلطهٔ حکومت فرانسه قرار دارند.
از این جمله میتوان به کالِدونیای جدید و والیس و
فوتونا در شرق استرالیا، جزایر
سنت مارتین در محدوده میان دو آمریکای شمالی و جنوبی، و همچنین جزایری مانند مایوت در جنوب آفریقا اشاره کرد.
از بزرگترینِ این مناطق میتوان
به گویانِ فرانسه یا گویان (Guiana) با مساحت حدودی ۸۳ هزار کیلومتر
مربع اشاره کرد که در همسایگی
برزیل در آمریکای جنوبی قرار دارد.
